The Roborough Community Partnership has been granted full planning permission for Roborough's community based development on the 2 sites comprising of Newcombes farmyard and the 2 fields adjoining the current playing field opposite the village hall.

- 4 affordable houses for local people to be owned and controlled by the parish
- 3 derelict barns converted to 3 houses
- Sports facilities
- Children's play area
- Parking opposite the village hall for hall users
- A new footpath and bridleway
- 8 acres of community owned space
- 5 open market houses which will fund most of the above

- Devon County Council transferred the land and farmyard to the Parish of Roborough. The Roborough Community Partnership has spent the last 14 years developing the project and obtaining the planning permission. The Roborough Community Property Association Ltd (RCPAL) was formed, by 4 founder shareholders, to take on the ownership of the assets on behalf of the Parish and complete the development.
- Every adult in the parish, who is committed to the aims of the Trust as set out in the Registered Rules is entitled to become a shareholder of the RCPAL. A copy of the rules can be obtained from the Secretary.
- As a shareholder you will have the opportunity to shape the future activity of the RCPAL and vote on proposals at meetings. Shareholder forms are available from the Treasurer.
- The RCPAL are managed by a Board of Trustees. If you would like to become a trustee and feel that you have a strong commitment to the project or a particular skill which would enhance the board we would ask you to apply to the Chairman at the address above. All expressions of interest will be kept in the strictest confidence. The RCPAL board always welcome skills such as financial management, property management, community or commercial development or any other skill that you feel might aid the RCPAL's activities.
